⚠️⚠️make sure you do your research people⚠️⚠️ while we were away we booked a 3 day all included activity trip, we got told we were visiting an elephant sanctuary (i planned on never visiting anything but a sanctuary) so we went ahead and booked the trip. when we got to the elephants they were all chained up and swaying out of frustration and i swear i’ve never been so angry and upset in my life. because we were stuck there with no way of leaving i had to make the most of it and i sat with the elephants feeding them and apologising that humans could be so cruel to do something like this. i’ve never cried so much in my life. i wish there was something more i could do to rescue all these poor, helpless, incredibly affectionate and loving creatures. #thailand #changmai #travelling #elephants #animalcruelty #humansaresuchbastards 😡😡😪💔
